The following conditions
regulate and apply to all sales carried out by ARCE through RevistasCulturales.com.
On making an order it is supposed that you have read and accepted the sales
conditions. You can print a copy of this document in case you need to refer
to it in the future.
Products: ARCE markets the sale of the magazines with which it collaborates.
Depending on the magazine, the customer can either order a specific edition
of the magazine or subscribe to the magazine.
Prices: All prices are in euros, and VAT is included.
The total price includes postage.
Prices may vary at any moment. We are under no obligation to inform the customer
of these variations beforehand.
If, on ordering a product, there is an error in the prices which appear in
the product details, or if these have been modified, the customer will be informed
of this, and the order will not be processed unless the customer expressly
demands it.
The purchasing process: ARCE’s purchasing process at RevistasCulturales.com
is very simple. Firstly, there is an index of all the magazines with which
ARCE collaborates. Once the customer has chosen the magazine they are interested
in, they must carry out the following steps:
Subscription preference: At this point the customer decides the type of subscription
they would like. Depending on the magazine, there is the option of either purchasing
specific editions of the magazine or subscribing to the magazine as from the
edition number indicated. Once the product to be purchased and the subscription
preference have been selected, the customer clicks on the chosen option.
In the case of ordering a specific edition of one of the magazines, the customer
will be asked to fill in a form with their name, e-mail address, and the editions
they would like. The corresponding magazine will then get in contact with them
to process the order.
Types of subscription: If the customer has chosen to subscribe to one of the
magazines, they will have access to a screen detailing the different subscription
options available, depending on where the order is to be sent; to Spain, to
Europe or to America. However, it must be taken into account that not all the
magazines offer this possibility. Next to each option there is the annual price
of the subscription, VAT and postage included. Once the customer has decided
where the order is to be delivered, they should click on the chosen option.
Shopping cart: On this screen, the details of the products chosen will appear,
along with the total price. The customer now has the choice of deleting, adding
further subscriptions, emptying the shopping cart or continuing with the order.
Once all the magazines the customer wishes to subscribe to have been selected,
and the customer agrees with the price which appears on the screen, they should
click on the button “process”.
A screen will then appear with a list of the products ordered, the corresponding
prices, the total price and a form which the user must fill in with their address
and invoice details in order to be able to carry out the delivery. The user
must also indicate their consent to the information in the form only being
used to maintain the commercial relationship, to deliver the goods which are
being marketed, and to invoice these goods: as is explained in the earlier
paragraph which refers to Personal Data Protection.
To continue, the customer must then click on the button “Proceed to
payment with credit card.” At the moment, this is the only method of
payment ARCE accepts.
Following this, the payment process will take place. A screen will appear
specifying the order identification code, in case the customer would like to
follow up the order. There will also be details of how to make a complaint,
should the need arise. It is recommended that the customer prints out this
page, as proof of payment.
On finalizing the purchasing process, ARCE will confirm the purchase either
by displaying a confirmation notice on screen, or by automatically sending
an e-mail to the customer.
Payment methods: For the marketing of its products, ARCE uses as payment methods
credit cards or bank transfer. We work with the Caja Madrid to ensure the security
of payments made by credit card. Data which is introduced from the credit card
is dealt with directly by the bank’s own computers, so that no third
party, not even ARCE has access to this information.
On placing an order, if the option of paying by credit card is selected, a
screen will appear detailing the total price of the order, and the customer
will be asked to fill in their credit card details. The system will then confirm
its validity and the amount will be charged to the customer’s bank account.
It is important not to forget to introduce the corresponding order reference
number.
If the customer prefers to pay by bank transfer, the order will be kept on
hold until the amount pending has been deposited in the bank account, the number
of which is indicated. It is important to indicate the order reference number,
or it will prove difficult to identify the payment.
We recommend that the customer prints out the page as proof of payment.
Delivery of the goods: The magazine which the customer has subscribed to,
or with which they have placed a specific order will send the goods through
the post, or via a postal agency.
Returns and complaints: Current legislation (“Ley de Ordenación
del Comercio Minorista” – Retail Traders’ Law) states that
the customer can return the goods within seven days of receipt of them.
However, the customer can only return the goods if they have chosen to purchase
specific editions of one of the magazines, as the Retail Traders’ Law
states that an exception to this legislation is the case of contracts for the
supply of daily newspapers, periodical publications and magazines.
If the customer has opted to purchase specific editions of one of the magazines
and wishes to return the goods, they should contact the corresponding magazine.
We would like to make it clear that the Law states that goods can only be
returned if they fulfil the following requisites:
-The goods should still be in their original seal.
-The customer is to pay for the postage to return the goods.
-The goods should be correctly packaged for postage.
